Export Process
Simple, Transparent, Reliable — Our Export Process Explained
We make it easy for international buyers to source premium Ugandan cocoa beans. Here is exactly how we work together, from your first inquiry to delivery at your destination port.
Step-by-Step Export Process
Step 1 — Inquiry
Submit your requirements via our Request a Quote form or contact us directly by email or WhatsApp. Tell us your desired quantity, destination port, and preferred payment terms. We respond within 24 hours.
Step 2 — Quotation
We prepare a detailed quotation including product specifications, price per metric tonne (FOB Mombasa or CIF destination), packaging details, and estimated lead time. All quotes are valid for 7 days.
Step 3 — Sample
First-time buyers are welcome to request a pre-shipment sample (approx. 1–2 kg) to evaluate quality before committing to a full order. Sample shipping costs are covered by the buyer.
Step 4 — Contract & Payment
Once you are satisfied, we issue a Sales Contract outlining quantity, price, quality specifications, payment terms, and delivery schedule. We accept Letter of Credit (L/C), Telegraphic Transfer (T/T), and other terms negotiable for established buyers.
Step 5 — Production & Preparation
Upon receipt of deposit or L/C confirmation, we begin sourcing, processing, and preparing your order. This includes fermentation, drying, sorting, grading, and bagging to your specification.
Step 6 — Pre-Shipment Inspection
Every batch is inspected before loading. We provide a full quality inspection report. Third-party inspection by SGS, Bureau Veritas, or Intertek is available at the buyer's request.
Step 7 — Shipping & Documentation
We arrange export through the Port of Mombasa (Kenya) or Dar es Salaam (Tanzania). Full export documentation is provided, including:
- Commercial Invoice
- Packing List
- Bill of Lading
- Certificate of Origin
- Phytosanitary Certificate
- Quality Inspection Report
- Any additional documents required by your country
