Q: What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
Our standard MOQ is 1 x 20ft container, which holds approximately 14–16 metric tonnes. For first-time buyers, we are open to discussing smaller trial orders. Please contact us to discuss your specific requirements.
Q: What payment terms do you accept?
We accept Telegraphic Transfer (T/T) with a deposit before production and the balance before shipment, as well as Letter of Credit (L/C) at sight from an acceptable bank. For established long-term buyers, we are open to negotiating other terms.
Q: Can I request a sample before placing a full order?
Yes. We encourage first-time buyers to request a sample (approximately 1–2 kg) to evaluate quality before committing to a full container. The buyer covers the cost of sample shipping. Please contact us to arrange this.
Q: What shipping methods do you use?
We export by sea freight through the Port of Mombasa (Kenya) or Dar es Salaam (Tanzania). We can arrange shipment on FOB, CIF, or CFR terms depending on your preference.
Q: How long does delivery take?
Order preparation typically takes 2–4 weeks after contract confirmation and deposit receipt. Sea transit time varies by destination — approximately 14–21 days to Europe, 25–35 days to the USA or Asia. We will provide an estimated delivery schedule in your quotation.
Q: What export documents do you provide?
We provide a full set of export documents including: Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, Phytosanitary Certificate, and Quality Inspection Report. Additional documents required by your country's customs authority can be arranged on request.
Q: Are your cocoa beans organic certified?
We source from farms that follow organic farming practices — no synthetic pesticides or chemical fertilisers. Organic certification documentation is available for certified batches. Please specify your certification requirements when requesting a quote.
Q: What is the HS Code for your cocoa beans?
The HS Code for our dry fermented cocoa beans is 1801.00.00 (Cocoa beans, whole or broken, raw or roasted).
Q: Can you supply year-round?
Yes. Uganda has two main cocoa harvest seasons (October–December and April–June), and we maintain warehouse stock to support year-round supply. Contact us to discuss long-term supply agreements.
